Are you experienced in designing, building and managing data pipelines that are meant to process large amounts of data into meaningful information? Join our Media Technology & IT team as Data Engineer!

In this position you’ll join a team of dedicated Data Experts and Software Developers working on a state-of-the-art data platform solution. You’ll be responsible for establishing data pipelines, from data source integration to end-user products. In collaboration with other experts across multiple divisions, you will be responsible for turning data into meaningful information which enables the business to answer key questions relating to the performance of Red Bull’s media.

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION

In this exciting role as a Data Engineer, you´ll actively design and realise new data pipelines. Starting with the onboarding of disparate data sources, you will then transform, harmonize and make sense of the performance data generated by the media produced by Red Bull Media House. As an expert in the performance data, you will be able to actively contribute to the suite of analytics enabled by the data pipeline by proposing concepts, prototypes and ideas that support the business in realising the data’s potential.

TEAM & COLLABORATION

You will be a part of an agile team, which strongly believes in a culture of shared code ownership, pair programming and code reviews. While designing and implementing solutions, you´ll always be supported by your peers and vice versa. We believe in constant constructive feedback as a crucial ingredient for personal skill development.

RESEARCH & INNOVATION

Keeping up to date with new industry trends and standards is key for success and the future of our technology stack. In this role, you’ll have the possibility to screen the market for potential new solutions that could bring additional business value and improve our services. Once you’ve identified a new solution, you will design POCs that demonstrate the technical feasibility and potential benefits, enabling the team to make accurate decisions regarding new integrations and upgrades.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Because we manage an ever-increasing amount of data, you’ll continuously work on optimizing the data pipeline to maintain high performance while minimizing processing and storage costs. Additionally, as a subject matter expert, you will be in an ideal position to recognise and propose improvements that provide operational efficiencies across the data pipeline.
